According to the CSIA (Certified Chimney Institute of America) and the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), chimneys should be inspected annually and cleaned as needed. We all have the mindset that our chimney should be swept each Fall, but truth be told, that might not be necessary. When Should I Schedule my Chimney to be Swept?

Unless you are having issues with you Chimney, Fireplace, or Stove, the best time to have your Chimney cleaned is in the Spring and Summer. If you wait until Fall or early Winter there is a good chance that there will be a slight delay getting to you, as that is our busiest time of year. However, we will do our very best to fit you in when it's convenient for you!
